About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional painter with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional quality finishes for residential and commercial projects while working independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure premium finishes
• Select and apply appropriate paints and coatings based on surface type and environmental conditions
• Work independently on-site with minimal supervision
• Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout projects
• Complete painting projects on schedule while meeting strict quality standards
• Properly use, maintain, and care for all painting equipment and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience
• Advanced knowledge of surface preparation techniques
• Expertise in various application methods (brushing, rolling, spraying)
• Proficient in paint mixing, matching, and color theory
• Comprehensive understanding of different paint materials and their appropriate uses
• Strong problem-solving abilities for addressing surface imperfections and application challenges
• Excellent time management skills to complete projects efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
• Comfort with frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Capable of safely working on ladders and scaffolding at various heights
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (paint cans, equipment, ladders)
• Adaptability to work in diverse environments (indoor/outdoor, various weather conditions)
