About This Role
We're seeking a skilled Assembly and Delivery Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on position combines precision assembly work with shipping and receiving responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Manufacturing:
- Perform basic sheet metal operations including deburring, spot facing, riveting, and panel trimming
- Assemble various parts and components according to work orders and specifications
- Handle minor electrical work as needed
- Read and follow technical instructions, manuals, drawings, and schematics
Shipping & Receiving:
- Process incoming shipments, track deliveries, and verify paperwork
- Pack products in shipping containers and prepare mailing labels
- Coordinate shipments via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers
- Organize shipping supplies and maintain clean work areas
- Pull parts for delivery and packaging based on order counts
Warehouse Operations:
- Move products throughout facility to ensure proper workflow
- Track and count inventory regularly
- Pack, unpack, and move boxes as needed
- Operate forklift (training provided)
- Drive truck and trailer for local deliveries and pickups (non-CDL)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100+ lbs
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the day
- Good hand dexterity and vision for detailed assembly work
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
