Position Overview
Assist the Technology, Strategy, & Innovation Division (A9T) with exploring emerging technologies capable of meeting requirements across the NASIC enterprise. This is expected to include, but not necessarily be limited to, assisting A9T with the creation and sustainment of:
Future Technology Statements of Direction (FSD) in support of the application of key technologies to NASIC mission analytical processes, tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
Technology Strategy Summary Documents (Tech STRATSUMS) that depict the Center's strategy and approach to addressing key mission requirements.
The Center's software development practice, components, tools and methodology in support of efforts to refactor the NASIC Enterprise to include mission applications, services and data fabric.
Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new requirements
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing, scheduling, and facilitatingA9T corporate processes
Preparebriefings, meeting minutes, or presentations as directed
Recommend actions to address identified issues/topics
Research hardware and software technologyand standards as directed
Assist the A9Tin creating NASIC directionfor future technology as requested by the government
Assist the CTO in researching technology direction and attend conferences and symposiums as requested by the government
Assist in the execution of technicalAnalysis of Alternatives (AoAs)and buildexecution plansas required
Assist the A9T in defining solutions and prototypes as requested by the government
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, computer programming, physics, applied mathematics, or related technical field
10+ years of DoD/IC program/project management experience
Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholders
Experience managing complex projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities
Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, leadership, and organizational skills
An understanding of technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
Familiarity with the Center's software development practice, components, tools and methodology in support of efforts to refactor the NASIC Enterprise to include mission applications, services and data fabric
Familiarity of the Technology Strategy Summary Documents (Tech STRATSUMS) that depict the Center's strategy and approach to addressing key mission requirements.

$91,000 - $147,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
