Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Job

Support the Program's test strategy for functional, non-functional, and automated testing across a diverse set of technologies and platforms supporting our business initiatives. Work with cross functional team members to design and implement functional and non-functional tests and quality practices driving application quality. Provide guidance and support to the delivery teams, business owners, and peers in areas such as software testing, automation frameworks, and mobile testing. Research and implement new automation development techniques. Design, implement and support the automation test frameworks. Contribute to the expansion of the automation test suites through the development automation test scripts. Perform complex automation assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established testing and automation standards, methods, and best practices. Support quality practices within the teams and across Programs. Define and drive standards and practices within automated code design and deployment. This position requires 5% domestic travel. Role is hybrid allowing periodic work from home. Multiple openings available.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H-1B visa.

This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

EDUCATION:

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Digital Sciences or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Quality Engineer, Software Engineer or related role where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following:

Five (5) years IT experience;
Four (4) years in software testing and quality assurance;
Four (4) years designing and developing automated tests in Selenium or equivalent tool(s);
Three (3) years in manual test execution;
Three (3) years working with test management tools;
Manual or exploratory testing;
Implementing and defining automated test solutions and frameworks;
Creating test plans, defining test cases, defect tracking, and report and dashboard design; and
Java development.
