Description
Be a part of the St. Mary of the Woods Community! We are looking for a Full-time State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNAs) to work in our 5-star healthcare facility.The STNA is responsible for providing Resident care according to an approved Care Plan; understand and practice infection control procedures; comply with all documentation/record-keeping policies including vitals. Come join our culture driven community with excellent staff to resident ratios!

Positions available includes working every other weekend and every other holiday:


7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications:


Must have a nursing assistant certification from the state body charged with the responsibility of certifying nursing assistants working in long-term care and be in good standing.
Must have previous experience working as an STNA.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Must meet all federal, state, and local health regulations and pass a post-employment-offer physical exam. This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background check, and reference screening.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision.
Proven history of good judgement, integrity, and consideration to others
Maintained awareness and sensitivity to resident needs, interests, and abilities.
High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
