Job Description: The Stark County Community Action Agency in Canton, OH, has multiple full-time Lead Preschool Teacher openings.
New, increased salary! We are seeking Lead Preschool Teachers to join our organization. These individuals will work with children ages 3-5. School year schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement weekly lesson plans to help children learn and grow. Utilize program curriculum.
- Assess child development and progress.
- Maintain safe classroom. Follow licensing and Head Start regulations.
- Work cooperatively with other teaching staff and providers.
- Build relationships with families. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and home visits.
Qualifications:
- Love working with 3- to 5-year-old children! Lots of creativity and patience!
- Minimum of an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Pay commensurate with experience.
- Experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: $21.95-$23.40/hour
Expected hours: 40 hours/week

Details: Full time. First Shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday. $21.95/hour to $23.40/hour (based on experience).
Qualifications: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must have at least 6 months of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must have a valid driver’s license.
