Job Overview: The 3rd Shift Continuous Anodizing Line Operator plays a critical role in the safe and consistent operation of our continuous aluminum anodizing line. This position involves hands-on equipment operation, process monitoring, basic maintenance tasks, and quality control titrations & inspections. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently after completing a structured training period. This position will receive training on 1st shift and the job will require full-time duties on off-shifts & weekends. Off days will be on weekdays (to be determined, we are flexible).

Objectives:


Safely and efficiently operate the anodizing line
Maintain process stability and meet quality standards throughout production
Collaborate with team members and support groups to ensure line uptime and product flow
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Demonstrate ownership of housekeeping, maintenance support, and process knowledge

Responsibilities:


Operate and monitor equipment on the anodizing/coating line including setup, adjustment, and shutdown procedures
Perform regular quality checks, titrations, and inspections to ensure conformity with specifications
Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), cleanups, and line changeovers
Interpret data and measurements (e.g., titrations, pH levels) to inform process decisions and make necessary adjustments
Use standardized work instructions and comply with all safety and PPE requirements
Coordinate with incoming and outgoing shift personnel to support smooth production transitions
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Communicate effectively with supervisors and support departments regarding any equipment or quality issues

Qualifications

Qualifications:


High School Diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to read and follow standard work instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn technical processes including chemical handling and line controls
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset preferred

Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand, walk, and move across the production floor for the full shift
Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs regularly
Manual dexterity and ability to work in hot, humid, or chemical-exposed environments (with appropriate PPE)
Tolerance for repetitive tasks and continuous motion work
Operate Tow motor
