CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Safety
*Uses safe process techniques and good housekeeping
*Follows ITM's and safety guidelines
*Wears proper PPE
*Attends all safety meetings or takes the make-up test
*Sustains 5S
R&D Development
*Learns multiple polymer chemistry types
*Makes polymer batches with a focus on processing methods
*Tests polymer batches for QC specification tests
*Completes lab notebook and follows documentation procedures
*Completes experiments in a design
*Observes and assists in pilot polymer batches

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required
*Must be at least 18 years of age
*Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status

EDUCATION
Required
*Must have a HS diploma or GED
*Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in a STEM Degree
*Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA
Preferred
*Currently at a Junior or Senior standing
*Chemistry majors preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required
*Skilled at Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred
*Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure and computer platforms.
*Working knowledge of Minitab and Business Objects.

Start date will be in August 2025, with a minimum of 8 months requirement on site in Cleveland, OH
