Job Description:

Perform a series of operations and duties throughout Casting Center, performing many different jobs. Make limited decisions as to quality. Works from verbal and/or written instructions, to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to the following:

Ladle Liner
Osborn
Hunter
Chipper/Grinder
Wheelabrator/Mash
Coremaker
Iron Pool
Forklift
Mudder/Cleaner
Paint/Ring Test
No-Bake

May be asked to do any job from metal delivery to mold machine to clean up, relieve for breaks, lunches, and fill in when someone is off. Perform duties as directed by supervision. Maintain productivity and performance expectations. Follow Lean Principles and adhere to safety regulations and rules. Keep work area clean and performs other related job duties when directed by supervision.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to learn multiple processes
Physically demanding, lifting, bending, and twisting
Write production records and required documentation
Pass and maintain forklift certification
Must be able to keep up with production requirements
Basic math skills required
Will train qualified individual

Training Requirements:

Up to 6 months of on the job training depending on previous qualifications determined by the supervisor
Up to 2 weeks training with an experienced operator determined by the supervisor

Level of Training:

As determined by the Supervisor
