About the Job

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer with a strong background in RPA development to join the Business Process Automation Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving digital transformation by automating complex business processes across departments. This role also involves leveraging the broader UiPath ecosystem, including tools like Document Understanding and Communications Mining to build intelligent and scalable automations.

You will work closely with business analysts, process owners, and IT stakeholders to design robust solutions and deliver high-performing bots that align with organizational goals. Additionally, you will contribute to best practices, mentor junior and citizen developers, and help shape the automation roadmap.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

* Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using industry-standard tools. Follow best practices for RPA development, including code reusability, modularity, and exception handling.

* Utilize UiPath tools such as Document Understanding, Communications Mining, etc. where applicable.

* Integrate bots with APIs, databases, and third-party systems.

* Maintain and enhance existing automations, ensuring reliability and scalability.

* Mentor and support junior RPA developers and nearshore contractors by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, sharing best practices, and ensuring adherence to development standards.

* Facilitate the expansion of our citizen developer network through mentorship, code reviews, and sharing best practices.

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:

Education

Required


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

Required:


2+ years of experience in RPA development
Hands-on experience with at least one major RPA platform (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism,etc.). UiPath experience is preferred.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as VB.NET, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Strong understanding of process design documents
(PDDs) and solution design documents (SDDs).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:


RPA Developer Certification (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer).
Experience with OCR tools, AI/ML integration, or workflow orchestration.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, and web services integration.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with REFramework and best practices in exception handling and logging.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus
