SUMMARY: Galt Alloys, LLC is looking for an Induction Furnace Operator. The Induction Furnace Operator will operate a 3-ton induction furnace to melt steel and titanium. Training is available for the right person. High attention to detail in this job is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating and maintaining furnaces
- Loading and unloading materials
- Monitoring and inspecting equipment
- Ensuring proper temperature and process control
- Following safety procedures
- Performing basic maintenance and cleaning
- Recording production data and logs
- Assisting with other tasks
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Identifying and addressing any problems that arise during operation
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Employer willing to train on the job
