SUMMARY:

Galt Alloys, LLC is looking for General Laborers to join their team. General Laborers will operate mobile equipment and overhead cranes. The work environment is hot and dirty. Employer is willing to train on the job!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, including steel, scrap, and other supplies, from vehicles, docks, or storage areas. 
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, cleaning equipment, and organizing materials. 
• Assisting Production: Supporting production workers with tasks like feeding conveyors, operating basic machinery, and preparing materials. 
• Scrap Handling: Identifying and separating scrap metal for recycling or disposal. 
• Basic Tool Usage: Using hand tools, pneumatic tools, or torches for various tasks. 
• Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate safety gear, and reporting any hazards. 
• Other Duties: Performing other tasks as assigned, such as assisting with maintenance, inventory, or packing. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Employer willing to train on the job
