Job Overview: The 3rd Shift Metalphoto Imaging Technician is responsible for producing high-resolution, durable aluminum identification products using the Metalphoto imaging process. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to follow precise operating procedures while working independently during overnight hours.

Objectives:


Consistently produce high-quality imaged products that meet internal and customer specifications
Maintain accurate records and complete jobs on time
Communicate clearly with team members and shift supervisors to ensure smooth handoffs
Follow all work instructions, safety guidelines, and process controls
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Responsibilities:


Operate exposure units, developing equipment, and post-processing systems for Metalphoto
Load, handle, and inspect aluminum sheets with care
Verify image clarity and alignment through visual inspection and quality checks
Accurately complete documentation for each job
Maintain equipment cleanliness and work area organization
Alert supervision to any equipment issues or production delays
Participate in cross-training or support other departments if needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:


High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a production environment
Basic computer skills and ability to read work instructions and prints
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Previous imaging or printing experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
Ability to lift and handle sheets of aluminum up to 40 lbs
Visual acuity for detailed inspection and alignment
Manual dexterity for handling and positioning material
