Job Title: Retirement Specialist
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Retirement Specialist, you'll manage financial data and proposal work for individual and institutional client offerings, assist with individual and institutional client relationship management, prepare benchmarking reports and assist financial advisors with prospecting tools. You will also schedule, develop content and conduct retirement and investment focused meetings to educate clients and their associates on various retirement services and best practices.
What You'll Do:
A Day in the Life - Your focus will be to help develop and deliver education content for institutional retirement plan sponsors to help their associates transition from their working years to their retirement years. In addition, you will administer individual retirement account relationships for our Wealth Advisory team. You will utilize an eye for detail in analyzing investment opportunities and designing retirement programs. You will also demonstrate the ability to engage and teach as you travel to clients' companies, conduct retirement and investment focused meetings and assist clients with their financial and retirement goals.
What it Takes:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
Ability to travel for client meeting purposes
Ability to: communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, and work independently and as a team member.
Attention to detail; apply analytical skills and develop content
Travel Required - 25% (heavier during the third month each quarter)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
