- Inspects library buildings andhelps maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, performs minor carpentry, plumbingwork,installsequipmentandlights.AdherestoCCPLaccesscontrolproceduresforsecured locations
- Deliverslibrarymaterialstolibrarylocations,movessupplies,equipmentandfurnituretoandfromMainand Branch locations, with assistance if necessary
- Keepscurrentwithsafety regulationsandsafetypractices,cleaningmethods,precautionsforharmfulmaterials
- Assistswithtrackinginventoryoffixedassetsandpurchasesofcleaningsuppliesandmaintenancematerials
- Paintsinterior/exteriorofbuildings/othersurfaces,assistswithgroundskeeping/snowremovalasassigned
- Verifyvendorinvoices/workorderstoensureworkwascompletedaccuratelyandonbudget,as assigned
- PerformsgeneralcleaningofLibrarybuildingsandgrounds,asdirected
- Representsthelibraryinapositivemannerandadherestolibrary’scustomerserviceprocedures
- Abletoworkflexibleschedule;mayincludeeveningand/orweekendon-calldutyorworkonshortnoticeforlibrary emergencies.MaintainsworkscheduleandadherestoCCPLattendancepolicies.Overtimerequiredoccasionally
SALARY/BENEFITS: $18.56 per hour. Ohio Public Employees Retirement System membership; two (2) wks. vacation, 12 holidays, and sick leave according to CCPL guidelines.
