Your Opportunity as the Creative Content Manager

We're looking for a marketing professional with specialized experience in creative project management to join our in-house agency, Seed Creative. The Creative Content Manager will lead various creative projects and campaigns across Smucker's portfolio of brands specifically within our Away From Home business area. Our Away From Home brands support foodservice channels such as schools, offices, restaurants, hospitality venues, and more.

Examples of projects include: retailer media campaign guides adapted from national campaigns, social media, retailer advertising, e-commerce digital shelf content, marketing collateral and displays, tradeshow graphics and materials, event video content, internal branding, innovation sell-in support, and photo and video productions.

This individual will collaborate with multiple internal teams, including in-house creative designers, copywriters, video specialists, internal cross-functional partners/clients as well as our external agency teams. The Creative Content Manager will facilitate and support producing a variety of integrated content across B2C and B2B channels. They will manage timelines, translate needs, facilitate feedback and approvals, and steward compelling creative content on time and on budget. This position requires an extremely organized, service-oriented, strategic project management mindset and strong communication skills.

Our brands include frozen handheld foods, spreads, coffee, sweet baked snacks, and pet food/snacks, and the work of Seed Creative & Design directly shapes consumer and B2B perceptions of these brands.

Location: Orrville, Ohio Corporate Offices

Work Arrangements: Hybrid (onsite base approximately 9 days per month, mostly during core weeks determined by the Company). Additional onsite presence may be required for photo and video shoot direction or other business needs, with potential travel as necessary.

In this role you will:

Work as part of a team of Creative Content Managers and serve as primary point of contact between internal marketing teams and our in-house agency for your assigned brands

Lead project setup and manage timelines and tasks in the project management software (Monday.com)

Facilitate status meetings with internal partners/clients to foster positive collaboration and visibility

Source creative briefs and appropriate product information from internal partners, and use this info to engage creative teams and enable sound, strategic creative deliverables

Translate creative briefs and partner requests into actionable project plans

Manage integrated projects from concept through completion, following established workflows while contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives

Collaborate and problem solve with team members including copywriters, designers, video production/animation specialists, brand leads and other cross-functional teams

Manage multi-media photo/video productions for your assigned brands by spearheading production logistics, scoping external costs, building pre-pro documents, serving as producer on-set during shoot days and managing post-production tasks.

Steward existing campaign or brand style guides, ensuring new deliverables across all channels are aligned with established, approved creative standards

Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external agencies to maintain brand standards, campaign guidelines and shared creative assets.

Consult with subject matter experts and stakeholders, and present work to internal clients/partners as needed

Apply feedback, data-driven insights and other learnings to continually improve the work

Mitigate project barriers for team and escalate issues or recurring challenges for support from Directors

Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, as well as competitive brand creative.

Potential to mentor and manage future direct reports

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

7+ years of experience in creative project management in an agency environment

Proven experience flawlessly managing multiple dynamic projects, including timelines and internal or external resources

Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written communications

Ability to create strong, positive, collaborative relationships through excellent communication skills and by building trust

Experience managing photo and video productions including photographer/studio partnerships, estimating costs, facilitating talent contracts, etc.

Demonstrated adaptability to manage multiple projects and team communication within a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with proven ability to adhere to established processes and contribute to continuous process improvements

Outstanding attention to detail

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

Experience with the Monday.com work management platform

Prior agency or in-house creative experience

Familiaritywith consumer-packaged goods, especially food, beverage and pet brands

Continuous improvement mindset

Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite and various common file types

Prior experience with retailer/distributor media networks
