Job Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Data Planner to support data consolidation efforts for the GE Aerospace Controls Group. This role will be responsible for migrating training materials and technical documentation from multiple digital platforms into a centralized SharePoint site, and supporting the transition of wiki-style engineering content to Confluence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and experienced with document management platforms in an engineering or aerospace environment.
Responsibilities:
* Transfer existing training materials from various platforms (Secure Support Central, Box, etc.) to a unified SharePoint site.
* Migrate the Data Science and Applied Statistics Team"s Wiki Tech Community content into Confluence.
* Support internal stakeholders with documentation clean-up, formatting, and categorization.
* Ensure version control, access permissions, and quality standards during data transfer.
* Communicate with cross-functional teams to verify data accuracy and usability post-migration.
Core Qualifications:
* Background in aviation, aerospace quality, or operations support.
* Experience with documentation and file management using platforms such as SharePoint, Secure Support Central, Box, and Confluence.
* Strong administrative task management and organization skills.
* Self-directed and proactive in identifying data inconsistencies and resolving issues.
* Effective communicator with strong attention to detail.
* Flexible, collaborative, and eager to learn new tools or systems.
* Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Traits & Skills:
* Familiarity with digital content governance or document control in engineering environments.
* Experience supporting enterprise-level system migrations or content clean-up projects.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with limited supervision.
