Job Description

Job Overview

The primary responsibility of Think Environmental LDAR technicians is to detect fugitive emissions from equipment in chemical plants, gas processing plants and refineries per EPA Method 21. Our technicians are trained in LDAR regulatory policies, EPA Method 21 monitoring procedures, component identification and record keeping

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform leak detection per EPA Method 21
  • Make first attempts to repair leaking components
  • Work with plant operations and maintenance to ensure successful leak repairs
  • Perform other daily routine tasks as required

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Industrial/plant experience preferred
  • TWIC Card is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold, inclement weather)
  • Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights of 100 feet
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: Base Pay $18/hr - 21/hr, pay can increase after 90 days

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
