Job Summary

The Account Director is a key leadership role responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing the successful delivery of creative projects, and driving strategic account growth. This position involves balancing day-to-day account management with big-picture thinking, ensuring that the agency's work aligns with clients' business goals and brand vision. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, strategic thinker, and experienced leader with a passion for exceptional branding and design.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management


Act as the main point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Understand clients' business objectives, market dynamics, and brand challenges to provide strategic advice and solutions.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and ensuring that agency outputs meet or exceed expectations.

Strategic Account Oversight


Develop and oversee account strategies that align with clients' business goals and brand vision.
Guide clients through the creative process, providing insights and ensuring alignment with objectives.
Monitor account performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Be accountable to your account plans and to deliver revenue and margin growth for your clients (diversifying work into all offerings of Marks).

Team Leadership & Collaboration


Lead and mentor account teams, ensuring they are equipped to manage projects effectively and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with creative, strategy, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.

Project Management Oversight


Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Anticipate and address potential challenges, resolving issues proactively to keep projects on track.
Oversee scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring proper communication with clients and internal teams.

Business Development


Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts, recommending additional services or solutions.
Support the new business team with pitches and proposals, contributing to the agency's growth efforts.
Build a deep understanding of the client's industry to position the agency as a strategic partner.

Financial Management


Manage account budgets, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
Negotiate contracts, statements of work, and scope changes with clients as needed.
Track and report on financial performance, ensuring adherence to targets.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
