Job Title: Stager- 1st Shift (5am-1:30pm)

Reports To: 1st Shift Supervisor

Location: Avon, OH

Shift Differential Eligible: No

Summary: Responsible for pulling and preparing ingredients according to batch sheets and returning Raw Materials back to appropriate locations when finished



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Read and interpret production schedules, formulas, Bill of Ladings and other documents for products being produced
Ability to follow procedures exactly and document lot numbers, weights and other information on batch sheets without error
Open containers with, but not limited to, manual and pneumatic can openers and knives
Organize Raw Materials in proper batch sequence utilizing the designated lot numbers
Complete all training defined and made available for the current assigned role.
Responsible for attending all training made available, assuring full understanding of the training and can perform trained activities.
Responsible for the coordination and review of specific functional area BRC criteria. Ensure BRC protocols are implemented and audited as required. Provide employee training as needed.
Ensure Food products meet safety, quality, authentic and legal requirements.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience


GED or High School Diploma preferred; and one-month related experience or training.

Communication Skills


It is essential to have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions.

Computer Skills


Perform data entry into manufacturing software systems and in QS/OEE software.

Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal. Accuracy is a MUST.



Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Other Qualifications


Must be able to complete the company's Forklift Certification program
Must be able to use, read, and interpret product scales.
