TITLE:
Fiscal Specialist
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Fiscal Supervisor, Treasurer

Fiscal Specialist (Classified Administrator)
CONTRACT:
260 days - 8 hours per day
SALARY:
Salary is dependent upon experience and education.
Ranges from 54,000 - 60,000
GENERAL DUTIES AND
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Word, Excel and Google products
Knowledge of district software systems Accounting experience preferred
Detail to accuracy with ability to problem solve independently
SPECIFIC DUTIES - NOT ALL INCLUSIVE
Assists Fiscal Supervisor with the following:
- Process requisitions for all District wide purchases, i.e. utilities, contracts, etc.
- Complete processing of purchase orders and invoices for payment.
- Monitor utility costs, contracts, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and validity of invoices
- Process Accounts Payable checks
- Maintains vendor information
- Processes all incoming mail to the district
- Assists with Accounts Receivable as necessary
- Attends trainings as needed
- 1099 processing
- Assists Payroll Specialist in deduction payments
- Maintain Open Checkbook and various systems.
- Process any and all accounts payable functions
- Adapt to various software systems as required.
- Assist in processing, monitoring and payment of any other system or department as needed
- Assist the Treasurer in projects and other duties as assigned.
