POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Anticipated Openings for the 2025-26 School Year  

TITLE:

Fiscal Specialist  

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Fiscal Supervisor, Treasurer  

DEPARTMENT:

Fiscal  

CLASSIFICATION:

Fiscal Specialist (Classified Administrator)  

CONTRACT:

260 days - 8 hours per day  

SALARY:

Salary is dependent upon experience and education.

Ranges from 54,000 - 60,000

 

GENERAL DUTIES AND

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient in Word, Excel and Google products

Knowledge of district software systems Accounting experience preferred

Detail to accuracy with ability to problem solve independently

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES - NOT ALL INCLUSIVE

Assists Fiscal Supervisor with the following:

  • Process requisitions for all District wide purchases, i.e. utilities, contracts, etc.
  • Complete processing of purchase orders and invoices for payment.
  • Monitor utility costs, contracts, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy and validity of invoices
  • Process Accounts Payable checks
  • Maintains vendor information
  • Processes all incoming mail to the district
  • Assists with Accounts Receivable as necessary
  • Attends trainings as needed
  • 1099 processing
  • Assists Payroll Specialist in deduction payments
  • Maintain Open Checkbook and various systems.
  • Process any and all accounts payable functions
  • Adapt to various software systems as required.
  • Assist in processing, monitoring and payment of any other system or department as needed
  • Assist the Treasurer in projects and other duties as assigned.
