Job Summary
Front Line Team lead, CNC
Utilize your machining, production line and leadership ability to lead shop personnel, ensuring that quality standards are met. Optimize machine utilization and ensure that the line is running efficiently. Provide feedback to plant manager and employees.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
- Re-start, setup and adjust machines.
- Analyze and resolve work issues.
- Trains new and existing personnel according to essential job duties.
- Ensure compliance with quality and plant safety procedures.
- Interprets specifications and job orders to workers.
- Ensure that daily production goals are achieved and create/manage detailed reports.
- Identify issues that detract from productions targets and make recommendations where applicable
Desired background:
Several years of current CNC experience
Understanding of production line automation
Proven leadership role in a shop plant environment
Understanding of quality, production (compliance)
Analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills
Additional education, certifications, etc. (a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
