Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead Network Engineer:

  • Drive the architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise networking systems.
  • Lead network design initiatives and act as the escalation point for complex networking issues.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, clinical departments, and external vendors to deliver high-quality network solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of network engineers.
  • Ensure high network performance and security to support both patient care and administrative systems.
  • Create technical documentation including network diagrams and architecture designs.
  • This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position. 

Required Skills for Lead Network Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering with proven success in managing complex infrastructures.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Azure Networking solutions.
  • Experience implementing and managing network security, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Compensation Details: $44-47/Hour
