General Description:
Under administrative direction, the State Support Team (SST) School Improvement Consultant provides high-quality technical assistance and professional development to school districts and instructional leaders for the purpose of building capacity to plan and implement school improvement processes. Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in the area for which the employee has primary responsibility (i.e., education, special education, early childhood education, education administration, or an appropriate related field or evidence of equivalency).
2. Three to five years of successful classroom teaching, school improvement planning, special education administration, or related experience; a license appropriate to the individual’s profession (special education administration, intervention specialist, early learning, age 3 to grade 3, related services).
3. OLAC Certified Facilitator
4. Must pass a criminal background check
5. Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
