Job Summary:

The Integrations & API Product Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of Integration and API products and technology platforms across CareSource. This role uses a collaborative approach to create and manage platforms and related projects that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. They are responsible for driving data-driven solutions and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams, as well as driving the development and enablement of solutions for increased adoption of these integrations and API across the firm.

Essential Functions:

Lead the development and execution of new and emerging API products, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
Create and manage projects from concept through production, engaging necessary teams to craft a rich and engaging customer experience
Serve as a passionate advocate for the customer by grounding ideas in data-driven solutions
Collaborate with the customer research team to incorporate user insights and principles throughout the product development process
Lead the Agile product development process, including supporting user stories creation, defining support documents, and prioritizing features in the product backlog
Engage directly with partners through interviews, collaboration and feedback sessions to understand their needs and pain points
Work closely with teams across CareSource including Architecture, legal, compliance, clinical, enrollment, provider, claims, etc to create and maintain the product backlog
Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to understand dependencies and ensure seamless integration of new features
Analyze feedback, product data, and market trends to identify needs and support continuous improvement
Establish and track objectives and key results (KPIs) to measure engagement, conversion, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
Contribute to the establishment of product management best practices and documentation, including functional and technical requirements specifications
Provide UAT support to ensure that original requirements are met and document any changes identified during testing
Perform any other job related instructions as requested

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience, is required
Master's Degree preferred
Five (5) years of experience in product management, with a focus on APIs and integrations or related product areas, is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and integration platforms
Familiarity with API management tools (Axway, APIM etc.)
Familiarity with other middle ware platforms (Talend, API Service mesh)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development life cycles
Skilled in software development or engineering
Understanding of the Healthcare industry and ecosystem including future direction. In-depth knowledge of interoperability standards relevant to the industry, such as HL7, FHIR (for healthcare), or OpenAPI specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for articulating product vision and collaborating with stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess API performance and identify areas for improvement
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and market conditions
A mindset geared toward innovation, continuously seeking new ways to enhance API capabilities and interoperability
Knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning models, and ethical considerations in AI deployment

Licensure and Certification:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Solutions Architect preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate preferred

Working Conditions:

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$92,300.00 - $161,600.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
