The City of Lima, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for the position of Total Plant Operator Specialist (Applier Level), Water Treatment Plant. Under direction, the Total Plant Operator performs water supply and treatment functions; performs emergency functions; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness; and establishes and maintains external relationships.
- Completion of secondary education
- Class I, II, or III Water Supply License Required
- Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License Required
- Maintain OEPA Operational Laboratory Chemical Certification
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of water treatment plant operations
- Under general direction and supervision, perform water supply and treatment functions
- Perform emergency water treatment functions
- Maintain personal and professional competence and awareness
- Establish and maintain external relationships
Deadline: July 18th, 2025.
Pay: $28.45 to $31.27 per hour depending on licenses.
