Evaluate competitive landscape in the automotive sector concerning exterior portions of the cars. Set targets to ensure customer satisfaction with automotive products in these areas. Determine layout criteria to satisfy said targets. Work with various groups through feasibility studies and design stages to ensure all targets/requirements are met and evaluate changes required to meet other stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. 4 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 year of experience in automotive engineering or a closely related field; 4 years of experience with test procedure development and planning, including developing test plans and procedures in the automotive or related field; 4 years of experience with Data Acquisition, including taking data utilizing dedicated hardware and software for displacement, velocity, and force; 4 years of experience with Technical Communication, including communicating complex technical information to support, management, stake holders; 4 years of experience with Data Analysis, including processing acquired data to answer engineering questions in test purpose; 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency in creating and manipulating documents in Excel and PowerPoint; 3 years of experience with 3D Cad Modeling Catia V5, including familiarity with navigating in Catia V5 or other software to review existing data; 1 year of experience with Matlab Programming, including familiarity with Matlab software and ability to develop and manipulate programs; and 1 year of experience with FEA analysis, including ability to understand results derived from simulations and method assumptions.
