About the Job

The North America (NOAM) Workforce Management Forecasting & Data Insights Senior Analyst is a highly motivated and analytical professional responsible for integrating data insights and scheduling expertise to optimize workforce management processes. This role combines analytical skills with scheduling and forecasting capabilities to drive operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience. The incumbent will work closely with various teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and effective use of UKG Pro Workforce Management systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Data Insights & Reporting:


Trend Analysis: Analyze trends in user engagement and system adoption to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Use data to support strategic decision-making and enhance system utilization.
Dashboard Design: Design and implement interactive dashboards that provide real-time insights into workforce management metrics. Customize dashboards to reflect key business metrics and support various departments in their reporting needs.
Business Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand their reporting requirements and translate those needs into effective reporting solutions. Conduct regular reviews to ensure reporting needs are being met and identify opportunities for improvement.

Forecasting & Scheduling:


System Optimization: Optimize scheduling and forecasting systems and processes to meet workforce needs. Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced integration, and reduction of manual processes to improve efficiency.
Business Requirements Development: Develop detailed business requirements for schedule patterns and partner with SBS WFM Product Enablement to maintain these requirements within the UKG Pro WFM system. Ensure schedules are aligned with business operations and employee needs.
Report Generation: Generate scheduling and forecasting reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business leaders in their decision-making processes. Partner with analytics teams to ensure reports are insightful and actionable.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of scheduling and forecasting systems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to prevent disruptions. Support system updates and upgrades to ensure continuous improvement.

System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Data Migration: Aid in the migration of data from legacy systems to UKG Pro WFM, ensuring accurate data capture and transfer. Collaborate with teams to document reporting specifications and support knowledge transfer sessions during migration processes.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within the scheduling and forecasting systems to prevent disruptions. Implement updates and upgrades to ensure systems are functioning optimally.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education:

Required:


Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution, or in lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience in related fields

Preferred:


Bachelor's Degree focused on Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:


3+ years of experience in workforce management analytics, HR Analytics, or related roles.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to key leaders and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Ability to analyze and interpret time and attendance data.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to develop process mapping and standard operating procedures.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred:


Strong understanding of HRIS, Time and Attendance systems, and payroll processes.
Experience with workforce management software (e.g., Dayforce, UKG Pro WFM).
Project management skills with experience leading process improvement initiatives.
Certification in HR Analytics or related fields.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:


Microsoft Office products Word, and PowerPoint
Advanced Excel skills
Statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python)
Visual dashboard and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy)

Preferred:


Aptitude with UKG Analytics & Reporting configurations
Aptitude with Payroll, HCM systems with strong understand of end-to-end data flow and process impact.
Aptitude with Jira Agile platforms and other project management tools.

Travel: 20%
