Job Summary:
Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of mobile and stationary mining equipment. Work includes low-voltage systems up to 60VDC. This position operates under limited supervision and requires technical precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mining equipment and lubrication systems

• Complete inspections, timecards, work orders, and proper documentation

• Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics

• Support installation of mechanical systems on both mobile and stationary equipment

• Operate hoist and shaft work tools as needed

• Perform welding, cutting, carpentry, painting, and light fabrication

• Utilize CMMS systems and complete accurate data entry

• Train others in safe mechanical practices

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free workspace at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Two-year certificate from a technical school or 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair

• Minimum of 3 years in a mechanic role preferred

• Comfortable with computers and technical schematics

• Must pass background check and drug screen
