Milacron is now hiring a Production Planning Analyst to support our team in Mt. Orab, OH!

The Production Planning Analyst is responsible for organizing production according to demand and parts availability. Under the direction of the Assembly Leader, this role ensures the products are produced on time for shipment in an efficient manner.

Work You'll Do:

Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products

Plan and prioritize part start dates to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Determine production schedules and parts needed to cover production demand

Assist in Scheduling shift assembly starts according to production needs and material availability

Monitor jobs to ensure all parts kits are sequenced correctly

Address part shortage issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption

Maintain parts book / files and resolve missing parts effectively

Be familiar with engineering REV levels to ensure orders are current

Collaborate with Warehouse, Assembly, Mt. Orab, and Buyer/Planners and other staff

Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines

Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion

Investigate production problems, analyze root causes and provide solutions

Communicate production status to Group Lead on regular basis

Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations

Lead internal and external production meetings

Oversee internal and external sub-contract work

Manage and update company financial targets and forecasting

Work with multiple departments both internal and external

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years relative experience in Manufacturing or combination of both education and experience OR Associate degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4-5 years of relative experience in manufacturing OR Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.

Experience with JD Edwards

Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles

Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Good at math and statistics

Ability to read and understand blueprints to help with shop floor employees

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication abilities

May involve some repetitive motions, occasionally liftingup to 20 lbs.
