Location: Springboro or Franklin OH

Full-Time

Schedule: Any Shift – 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

About Us

Sunstar Engineering Americas (SEA), a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives, sealants, and coating products, is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.

About the Position

Responsible for performing quality testing on in-process batches, finished product, raw materials, and/or customer samples in a timely manner. Ensuring that the laboratory meets specified requirements, and for keeping laboratory testing up to date. Performs duties with supervision. Overtime as required by Manager.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and test samples of products and raw materials according to procedures.

Identify and resolve non-standard results, coordinating with supervisors and engineers.

Ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and in good working condition.

Support instrument validation, calibration activities, and maintain records.

Document test results clearly using SEA LIMS and MS365 applications.

Create labels for materials and samples, ensuring proper identification and hazardous communication.

Participate in APQP projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field, with 2 years of lab experience or equivalent education.

Strong technical aptitude, math and reading skills, and proficiency in Microsoft software products.

Requires standing for extended periods and handling physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling carts up to 1,200 pounds).

Requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Exposure to environmental factors like fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels.
