Under general supervision, this classified, bargaining unit position will learn to operate the Wastewater Treatment Plant by performing job duties under the direction of a licensed operator and will learn to monitor the plant to ensure that the plant and equipment continually operate in accordance with regulatory standards.
No license is required upon hire, but candidates will be required to obtain a Class I Water Reclamation (Wastewater Treatment) license within 3 years of employment and must obtain at least a Class II Water Reclamation license within six (6) years from date of hire.
