Project Lead - SATCOM/RF, MET Training, & RADAR

Position Summary:
The Project Lead oversees and documentation projects related to SATCOM/RF (Satellite Communications/Radio Frequency) systems technology. This role ensures project execution aligns with scope, contract specifications, and company objectives while serving as the primary customer contact. The Project Lead manages project timelines, coordinates technical teams, and ensures the delivery of high-quality documentation. Additionally, this role mentors team members, oversees compliance with industry standards, and communicates project updates to leadership.

What You'll Do:
* Develop, negotiate, and manage project plans, schedules, and specifications for SATCOM/RF documentation
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards for SATCOM/RF technical documentation
* Manage project timelines, resources, and staff schedules to meet deliverables
* Conduct internal and external project reviews and track follow-up actions
* Lead meetings with technical teams, trainers, and customer representatives
* Identify project risks, implement corrective measures, and maintain quality control
* Mentor and develop team members, fostering expertise in SATCOM/RF technologies
* Assist in developing department goals, policies, and procedures related to SATCOM/RF projects

What You Bring:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, technical writing, or training development within SATCOM/RF domains and Satellites in general.
* At least 2 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or Department of Defense (DoD) programs
* 3+ years of experience leading technical training or documentation projects related to SATCOM/RF technologies
* Strong understanding of MET and SATCOM/RF system operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and content management tools preferred
* Experience working with military technical manuals, specifications, and training materials
* Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet project goals and deadlines
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders

Work Environment:
* General office setting with standard office equipment
* Potential travel (up to 10%) to customer locations, training sites, or project facilities
* Occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines
