Job Summary
This role is tasked with supporting the technical components associated with project support for PMC and will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of digital project workspaces, SharePoint sites, internal and external access credentials, workflow construction and metric reporting interfaces to support PMC's increasing workload.
This is the second level of the 4-classification hierarchy. Employees at this level manage work in 3 areas of specialization (below), with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. They are fully competent in use of concepts and procedures. They identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to resolve.
Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance and coordination to Generation, and in some cases, Enterprise IT systems
Provides support for technology and process improvement for existing and new applications/ processes
Supports existing processes and technologies
Basic/Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business or Computer Information Systems or Engineering or Other Technical
2 (two) years related work experience
In lieu of Degree and 2 years related work experience, High School/GED AND 6 (six) years related work experience
Desired Qualifications
Two years' experience building programs and databases to manage project work
Experience with Web-based applications (SharePoint) and computer applications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Should have an understanding of the business processes and functionality of a wide range of computer applications.
Should have knowledge of and be able to resolve functional and process problems with a variety of unique business products and applications.
Demonstrated analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with customers, IT, management and teammates.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and monitoring of work and make decisions
Good written and oral communication skills.
Working Conditions
Hybrid Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility.
