Job Description

The Aplicant shall apply expert rotary wing aircrew experience and knowledge to the AFLCMC PEO Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) Helicopter Program Office (HPO) to ensure assigned projects remain consistent with program objectives, costs, schedules, performance criteria, and existing policies.

Essential Job Functions:

The Employee shall assist the Government to interpret and implement training requirements for HPO including but not limited to Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs), Courseware/Interactive Multimedia Instruction, and Type One Training.

The Employee shall make recommendations to the government on complex and/or controversial issues related to Type One training, courseware, and device design.

The Employee shall use expert knowledge to assist in resolving unique or novel problems related to a blended rotary wing training environment consisting of courseware, training devices and aircraft.

The Employee shall assist in reviewing courseware lessons, flight training syllabi, training plans, detailed specifications, drawings, and supporting documents, evaluating proposals, and presenting conclusions and recommendations.

The Employee shall present briefings and assist with developing reports to document progress and results.

The Employee shall support HPO training system meetings and working groups, as required.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience or High School and 15 years of experience.

Must have a Secret clearance.

Must have completed a DoD Instructional Systems Design (ISD) course.

Desired Skills:

Former USAF HH- 60 Special Mission Aviator or USA/USN/USMC Crew Chief.

Master Instructor Certification, United States Air Force or equivalent.
