Job Summary
The Sales Leader will be responsible for the metropolitan areas within the assigned geographical area and will develop new sales pipelines to meet their annual sales quota. You will spearhead the new expansion into this territory through the support of the company.

Essential Job Functions

Identify, qualify and close leads within specific geographical areas for government, C&I and distributor markets.
Build on-going relationships with new customers while maintaining pipeline of leads
Guide contract negotiation process and manage accounts through the project delivery and go-live process
Report on the status of engagements and new opportunities in weekly updates and monthly management forecasting reviews
Participate and network during industry specific conferences
Consistently and accurately input data into CRM system; process orders directly to ensure accuracy
Work with operations and manufacturing to accurately forecast product delivery timelines and accurately set customer expectations
Provide real time feedback from customers to shape product development

Travel Requirements

Up to 40% travel, domestically
Travel as needed to achieve company objectives

Education/Experience Requirements

BA or BS required or equivalent work experience
Knowledge and strong network of contacts within the EV charging industry
Strong understanding of renewable energy incentives and policies within assigned geographic area.
Prefer experience selling electric vehicle charging, solar or energy management solutions within the commercial space
Experience selling SaaS, PaaS enterprise or other software sales preferred not required
Successful track record in closing large agreements with global municipalities, C&I, utilities, distributors and or other applicable government agencies
Independent, entrepreneurial and results-focused
Passion for the clean energy industry with strong interest and desire to help further EV adoption
