Job description
The ERP Business Analyst plays a key role in driving SAP solutions across Billerud North American operations within the SAP ECC 6.0 environment (Finance & Accounting, Controlling, Taxation, Order to Cash, Sourcing, Plant Maintenance, and Reporting). The role requires close collaboration with functional area leadership to understand objectives, priorities and accurately develop, coordinate and implement business requirements and solutions. In addition, this role supports compliance activity in a ICFR controlled system.
The ERP Business Analyst applies extensive knowledge of both SAP ECC and 3rd party applications to satisfy business requirements in a dynamic environment. This role will have responsibility to work with and ensure service delivery through a team consisting of both internal and external resources via an outsource agreement.
Key Accountabilities - BNA IT ERP Business Analyst:
* Analyze complicated business processes, translating them into detailed requirements specifications which can be understood by functional business areas and are executable by technical resources.
* Establish and maintain business partnerships to understand operational goals, issues, strategy and prioritize business requests.
* Provide subject matter expertise as it relates to Billerud's business processes and associated systems.
* Provide subject matter expertise for ERP Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) compliance, access requests, segregation of duty requirements and restricted access remediation.
* Direct SAP-related Incident Management and Service Delivery.
* Work with other area IT leaders to ensure efficient and effective integration of solutions within the overall Global IT application environment.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:
Experience:
* 3-5 years of relevant SAP and information technology experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
* Leadership within large corporate Information Technology organizations performing application development, implementation, and maintenance; 24x7x365 operations support and large-scale project implementation.
Education
* BA/BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering or related degree
Personal qualities
Required skills:
* Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with business executives, senior business leaders, external customers, suppliers, IT leadership, and technical professionals; ability to articulate both business and technology requirements and opportunities.
* Strong self-management skills
* Strong customer focus and ability to understand business processes and information needs.
* Ability to drive results across multiple, concurrent projects with a demonstrated track record of delivering functionality on time and within budget.
* Proven track record dealing with conflict and ambiguity while making timely decisions.
* Experience in the design, development, and implementation of information technology solutions, processes, cyber security, and controls in a complex, dynamic environment.
* Working knowledge of the (paper) manufacturing business segment preferred.
