U.S. Bank National Association is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Informatica for its Columbus, Ohio location.
Job Duties: The Senior Software Engineer – Informatica will develop, automate, and monitor Informatica environments. Create architecture and high-level flow diagrams for business and management. Gather requirements from business and develop data transformation logic. Ensure data integrity between various source tables and relationships. Create technical specification documents and Extract, Transform, Load mapping. Manage development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and production environments with high availability and GRID setup. Automate environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd, and other command line languages. Responsible for on-boarding process involving knowledge transfer, knowledge building, presentations and code walk-through. Preparing SQL queries for data testing, including data warehousing, pre-stage testing, balancing and comparing data. Liaise cross-functionally to implement software patches and upgrades. Position may allow working from home within a commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer or related. Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following: (a) Informatica Power Center; (b) Scripting in Unix operating system environments; (c) Querying Oracle database using PLSQL and SQL; (d) Data Flow Design through Visio; (e) Database development using Toad; (f) Workload automation using Autosys; (g) designing and developing ETL design and ETL mappings; (h) designing informatica jobs scheduling in Control M based on business flow, and (i) Designing and implementing ETL solution using PySpark. Position may allow working from home within a commuting distance of worksite location. Pay Range: $138,590 - $164,100.
