Job Description

A Flooring Installer prepares, installs, and finishes various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, hardwood, and vinyl, in residential and commercial settings. They work with a variety of materials and tools to ensure a quality, aesthetically pleasing, and durable finished floor.

Responsibilities:

· Surface Preparation: Removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling the subfloor

· Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measuring and cutting flooring materials to fit the space and any obstacles

· Installation: Installing the flooring using appropriate techniques and materials (adhesives, nails, etc.)

· Finishing: Applying necessary finishes like grout, sealant, or stain

· Repair and Maintenance: Addressing any issues with existing flooring, such as repairs or maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements:

· 3 years of flooring installation required

· High school diploma or Ged required

· Must be able to work 40-50 hours per week

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $20-30 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
