Join us as a Mold Tech in our Chardon, OH facility.
You will be responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of Blow Mold Presses and completing mold and tooling changes when needed.
You will:
Perform mold and tooling changes, producing and inspecting a first piece, troubleshooting, process adjustments, and monitoring of secondary equipment including color blenders, rotary granulators, etc.
Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components
Assist Engineering and Facilities with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems, programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces (HMI), presses, conveying equipment, and pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
Ensure machines are properly calibrated and schedule and perform all preventative maintenance, and prepare reports on the progress made concerning faulty machines, errors, and processes
Must have at least 2 years of experience working with Blow Mold Presses and automation systems for manufacturing and troubleshooting capabilities
Must be able to work independently and communicate with their team and supervisors from other shifts to solve issues and keep up with procedures
Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):
3rd shift: 8:30pm to 7am, Monday through Thursday
8% shift differential for 3rd shift
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.
Compensation:
The hourly pay for this role is: $22/hr. to $27/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
