Summit Funding Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Commission Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for accurately calculating, processing, and managing commission payments for our sales organization. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Finance and Sales to ensure timely and accurate payments by analyzing sales data, interpreting commission structures, and resolving discrepancies.

Essential Functions:

* Accurately calculate and process monthly and quarterly commission payments.
* Generate clear, precise commission reports based on completed sales activity.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies in commission calculations or payments.
* Interpret and apply commission structures, policies, and payment guidelines.
* Prepare monthly sales volume and performance reports; assist in trend analysis and forecasting.
* Respond promptly and professionally to commission-related inquiries from sales team members.
* Support ad hoc projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in commission processing.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including formulas and data analysis tools.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with standard commission processing challenges and solutions.
* Comfortable making judgment calls within established commission guidelines.
* Self-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.

* Occasionally lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
* Frequently sits, stands and walks.
