The cake decorator is responsible for:
- Icing, decorating, merchandising, boxing, pricing, and selling cakes in the bakery.
- Decorates cakes for customer orders, general sales, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions.
- Takes and fills customer’s orders and keeps the case full of product.
- Operates icing tools, stocks dollies, mixing machines, mechanical price marking devices, and uses.
- Must follow food safety guidelines.
Major Duties:
- Control consistency and quality of product
- Perform freshness checks and recondition product
- Maintains courteous and friendly customer relations
