Staffmark is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Columbus, OH, to hire an Electronic Assembly Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay: $17-$19 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible schedule offered between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday)

Job Summary

The Electronic Assembly Technician will work at various stations, performing a range of tasks, including assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, gluing sub-assemblies, and mechanical assembly of force measurement products. You will collaborate closely with production management to ensure the timely and high-quality manufacturing of products.

Essential Functions

Gluing sub-assemblies using 2-part epoxy

General mechanical assembly with hand, powered, or pneumatic tools

Integrating PCBs and other electronic components into Bertec products

Soldering wiring to PCB boards

Assembling wire harnesses, cables, and electronic sub-assemblies

Calibrating and testing products

Lifting and physically handling components (up to 70 lbs, or 140 lbs with team assistance)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics

1+ years of experience with electronics assembly, soldering, and mechanical assembly

Ability to maintain accurate product calibration and testing records
