Machine Maintenance Technician

About the Job

Staffmark is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Urbana, OH, to hire a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy solving problems in a hands-on environment, this is your opportunity to grow with a respected team.

Pay: $23.03 - $27.88 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

Support production personnel and molding technicians

Perform preventative maintenance and general machine repairs

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

Inspect and maintain injection molding equipment

Complete maintenance projects, including occasional work on rooftops or silos

Track maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed

Maintain accurate maintenance logs

Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety procedures

Train other technicians as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with hydraulic systems and machine controls

Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights using lifts

Comfortable with frequent climbing, standing, and working on concrete floors

Above-average attendance and strong work ethic

Positive, professional attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
