Are you passionate about people, process, and purpose? We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiting/HR Coordinator to join our Cleveland office. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our talent strategy—supporting firmwide HR initiatives while leading local recruiting efforts for both staff and legal professionals.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage job postings, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews
  • Support on-campus recruiting and summer associate programs
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Prepare appropriate paperwork for all personnel actions including new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, etc. for all partners and employees in the Cleveland and Columbus offices. May be asked to prepare paperwork for other US offices, as needed. Maintains employee personnel files.
  • Provide guidance on benefits, leaves of absence, and employee transitions
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices to support the recruiting of legal and staff professionals

 

What You Bring:

  • We require a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Prior recruiting experience required with proficiency at conducting interviews and verifying employment references required.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with recruiting platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, viRecruit and cvMail is a plus
  • A proactive, people-first mindset and a knack for organization
