Customer Support Specialist
Full-time, 1st Shift
The Customer Support Specialist will provide extraordinary customer service to all incoming residents and families and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth and successful admissions. The position is a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships and facilitating the flow of information between all departments.
Qualifications and/or Skills Required:
- Prefer 1-3 years of related work experience in customer service; emphasis on Long Term Care or other healthcare setting;
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Strong computer skills;
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel, residents and families;
- Ability to handle difficult situations;
- Critical thinking skills;
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask;
- Good at building relationships with a high level of confidentiality;
- Represent Fairlawn with understanding the organizational goals and needs of the future in a professional manner;
- Ensure a safe environment and culture of caring for residents at the highest level;
- Must be able to sit, stand, and push, pull, move and/or lift supplies and equipment;
