GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible to prepare dining room, serve meals, and perform daily record keeping and cleaning tasks all with a focus on great customer service, proper technique and good hygiene.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve meals according to departmental guidelines and with a focus on meeting and exceeding resident and guest expectations for service quality
Perform daily assignments as required with good time management and organization
Keep work area, kitchen and dining area clean and sanitized at all times
Communicate well with other staff regarding resident and guest needs
Ensure food is plated correctly per resident dietary needs
Ensure tables are set neatly and correctly prior to meal time
Able to understand, and perform F.I.F.O (first in first out) stock rotation
Perform with a direct sense of urgency and purpose
Display a sense of self-respect and professionalism
Perform other duties as assigned.

Able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift in excess of 40 pounds.
