Purpose Statement

The R&D Center supports new technology development as well as new feed stock evalaution to promote ANDRITZ global business. This position is apart of the crew executing pilot scale trials to provide process data for the formulation of equipment train options and machine sizing.

Job responsibilities and tasks (includes but not limited to)


* Feed stock shipping and receiving.
* Preparation of feed stocks for trial execution.
* Participation in feed stock processing across various process stages according to the trial plan.
* Collection and preparation of trial samples.
* Collection and recording of relevant trial data.
* Clean up of the equipment, processes, and facility after trial execution.
* Disposal of feed stocks.
* Support various facility and equipment maintenance projects.
* Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, forktrucks, and other mobile equipment.
Education, professional experience and qualification preferred/required


* Minimum High School graduate or equivalent.
* Previous mechanical and/or manual labor experience, preferred.
* Basic writing, presentation, and math skills, required.
* Basic knowledge in computer software, preferred.
* Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
* Communicate effectively (verbal & in writing) and work independently or as a team member, required.
* Complete all required documentation, accurately.
Physical and Mental Qualifications

Requires capability of working in a manufacturing, shop floor environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, chemicals, fumes, irritants, dust, and dirt. Must possess strong probelm solving, origanizational, time management, prioritization, independent decision-making skills, while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements: Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, navigate stairs and possible lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must have visual acuity, manual dexterity, ability to endure long hours, good mobility, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
