About the Job

Staffmark is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join a leading company in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, on-site position with a flexible daytime schedule and excellent benefits.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

2-4 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred

Experience in a Medical Device environment is a plus

Must be able to remain seated for extended periods and operate standard office equipment

Ability to travel up to 5-10% as needed

On-site presence required during standard business hours unless otherwise approved by management

Responsibilities:

File all Accounts Payable documentation

Prepare check run proposals for senior finance approval

Match checks with invoice documentation and manage mailing after signatures are obtained

Resolve payment discrepancies and ensure proper credits for outstanding memos or PO amendments

Reconcile GRIR (Goods Received/Invoice Received) account monthly

Handle new supplier credit applications and maintain accurate supplier data (banking info, W-9s, etc.)

Report sales/use taxes based on paid invoices

Oversee 1099 tracking and filing

Review Purchase Orders, approve against budget, and process accordingly

Process and verify Travel & Expense reports with proper approvals

Respond to accounting and finance-related questions by researching and interpreting data
