Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining and growing transactional sales through cold-calling, order entry, troubleshooting problems and ensuring accurate communication. This person works closely with the Sales Team, Production, vendors and customers.
Enter all sales orders and ensure accurate customer information
Interact with and respond to customer inquiries
Generates new sales through regular up-selling and cold-calling
Qualify new, active, and inactive accounts as transactional prospects
An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Knowledge of steel products
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to accurately enter/maintain information
Strong sales skills, including cold-calling
Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or commensurate experience
2+ years of related experience in a sales setting; steel-service center a plus
